About Basco Lighthouse (Naidi Hills)
Built in 2003, Basco Lighthouse stands proudly on Naidi Hills overlooking Basco Bay. Though modern, it draws inspiration from Spanish colonial-era beacons and has become the unofficial symbol of Batanes. A short uphill walk leads to a viewing deck offering panoramic vistas of Mt. Iraya, the town of Basco, and the surrounding hills. Sunsets here paint the lighthouse and ocean in dramatic gold and crimson tones.
