About Diura Fishing Village
Diura is a sleepy fishing village tucked behind the eastern cliffs of Batan Island. From March through May, the village celebrates the Kapayvanuvanua — a fishing season opening ritual that has been performed for generations. Visitors can rest under nipa huts on the pebbled beach, dip in the natural Spring of Youth (Manaring Spring), and sample fresh-grilled dorado.
